I’ve used my fair share of rank tracking tools, and Zutrix is definitely one of the most user-friendly tools among the lot.
I like its intuitive interface as well as the advanced capabilities in terms of reporting.
While other similar tools do offer real-time notifications, Zutrix goes one step further. It enables you to get notified via Telegram and Slack.
It makes collaboration for my SEO team hassle-free since we coordinate via Slack.
Another feature that impressed me was the live report sharing option. It helps me stay on top of the changes in rankings happening dynamically.
The final word?
I think it takes the pain out of rank tracking.
Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself.
Zutrix Review: Key Features
Who is it Designed For?
How to Create a New Project in Zutrix
Before I start with the Zutrix review, it's important that you know how to create a project on the platform. Some of the key features in Zutrix can only be reviewed if there is a project added.
Here are the steps to add a new project in Zutrix:
Step 1: Click on “Add Domain” in the dashboard.
Step 2: Add domain name, country, and other required information in the dialog box. Since I also want to add specific keywords for tracking, I will click on “Domain+Keywords”
Step 3: In this step, I get to add keywords that I want to track. On the left, I can add keywords by adding them manually.
On the right, I can add a word, and Zutrix gives keyword suggestions based on the term entered. If I click on the suggestion, it can get added to the tracking list on the left. I have added a total of three keywords to try this option.
You can also select the devices that you want to track the keywords on. I am going ahead with the option for only “Desktop” for this review.
On the right, there is also an option to integrate Zutrix with Google Search Console. Right now, I just want to create a project, so I am not trying that feature.
I'm done, so I will just click on the “Add Keywords” button at the bottom of the dialog box.
As you can see, the project is added to the list in the Zutrix dashboard. You can also see the listing shows that three keywords are added to the project.
Step 4: For more details, I can click on the project name. Here are the details for the project I just created on Zutrix:
Detailed Review: Discussing Zutrix's Key Features
In this section of the Zutrix review, let's take a closer look at the key features that the tool has to offer. I am going to add screenshots in each section of the review, so you get a better idea of their user interface as well.
1. Keyword Lab
Zutrix's Keyword Lab is a top-tier feature for everything related to keyword research. Using the feature, you can find out the CTR, keyword difficulty, competition, and more information related to your search term.
For this review, I entered the term “hotels in New York.”
As you can see in the screenshot below, I can see the top domains ranking for this keyword along with their DA. Through the graphic on the right, it is clear that the CTR for hotels.com is the highest.
On the dashboard, you can also see a separate column for “Z-Rating.”
This is a special rating given by Zutrix based on a complex set of metrics that they have analyzed. Based on that, they decide which domain should rank higher for an analyzed keyword.
2. Competitor Tracking
To track your competitors' keywords, you can click on the “Competitors” option on the left-hand side of the screen. However, you will only be able to use this option after you have created a project in Zutrix.
Next, click on the button for “Add Competitors.” Based on your domain, Zutrix automatically suggests the best competitors.
By clicking on the suggestions, you can add them to your competitor list.
As you can see the three chosen options are added to the dialog box on the left. I am done here, so I'll click on “Save Changes.”
That's all.
Once you're through with this, Zutrix starts tracking your competitors.
For this review, I wanted to go a bit deeper to get a better sense of its competitor analysis capabilities. So, I also tried tracking results for “apple.com.”
As you can see in the screenshot below, I can see the key metrics for its competitors like Amazon, Walmart, Bestbuy, and Verizon.
While playing around with the platform, I ended up clicking on “apple.com.” That led me to the page that showed the performance of the domain.
On scrolling down, I also noticed that they show the top keywords along with their volume and latest performance.
3. Reports
Next, let's review Zutrix's reporting options. First, I clicked on the “Reports” option given on the left panel. Since I don't have any reports currently, the main screen shows no options.
To begin, click on “Add Scheduled Report.”
In the next step, I have to add an email ID where I want Zutrix to send me the scheduled report.
Here, I also get the option to choose a domain, frequency, and time for getting the report. The white labeling option is available only for the advanced paid packages.
For this review, I won't be discussing it since it is an advanced feature.
Once I have filled out the details, I can add it to my “Scheduled Email Reports.” As you can see, it will be sent in PDF format.
Below is a screenshot from the report that Zutrix sent via email. I like how it is neat and easy-to-understand.
The report also has a section that reviews keyword performance for the given domain.
4. Notifications
This rank tracking platform gives you the option to decide how you want to be notified about the latest updates. When you click on the “Notifications” option, you get to see the options in the screenshot below.
As you can see, it's easy to turn on notifications for Slack, Telegram, and email by just clicking on the slider given below the option.
There is also an option to configure your accounts under each section. I have only turned on the notifications for email for this review.
Furthermore, Zutrix also allows me to set the events that trigger notifications. For this review, I'm going with an option to get notified when my keyword ranking is up or down by three. If you want a lower frequency, you can easily change the settings through the slider.

It is also designed in such a way that it is easy to navigate and find the key metrics. It is super beginner-friendly and has rich functionalities.
That's a pretty cool combo right there!
